It all began with a production of small steel structures in the modest settings of Svend Møller Hansen’s parents’ home in Hobro. In 1969 the steel production company, Dansk Stålkonstruktion, was established. The first construction site was purchased and the production facilities on Jyllandsvej in Hobro were built.
From the beginning, the driving force for the founder of DS Gruppen, Svend Møller Hansen, was his entrepreneurial eagerness. Good craftmanship values combined with the ability to create a reasonable and profitable production flow have characterised the development of the group.
